d1219112024-05-08Quiet paradise This small apartment complex is wonderful. The views are amazing. Accommodations are just like home only beautiful. Susan and David are the best hosts one could ask for. Great staff, hot tub, bath house and pool to cool off. My friends and I have been there 4 or more times. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Very Safe. Short Uber ride to town for food and shopping. Walking is also possible but my friend and I are not into that. You can see the bay with the boats, parisailers and even watch as the cruise ships come to port. Love, Love, Love it there
Thad G2024-05-07Didn't Want To Leave If you are wanting peace and quiet, incredible views and old-world charm this is for you! Since most of the unit is basically outdoors it is like luxury camping. Susan and David (owners) were informative and gracious. Always willing to answer your questions but never intrusive. The maintenance and cleanliness were above par. Oh and if you are a LGBTQ+ traveler they are very welcoming. We found it to be a great value for all the amenities the property had to offer.
Audrey F2024-05-06Very Special and Amazing Resort My husband and I had another wonderful stay at Casa de los Arcos. It had been a few years since our last visit. As I walked through the gate, hugged Susan and saw the bougainvilleas in full bloom, the joy I felt was overwhelming. Susan and David are wonderful hosts. They and their staff take such great care of us. The resort is gorgeous and so well kept with so many special touches. Our beloved El Museo room was just as we left it; bright, colorful and clean. We always spend a lot of time relaxing on the resort grounds; enjoying the pool & hot tub, the botanical garden, the unique water fountains and the incredible views of the entire bay, city and the sunsets. The Romantic Zone is just a few minutes drive by taxi or a walk down the road and then a long staircase. You feel like you are more secluded up in the jungle mountain, but still have easy access to all the city offers. This is a very special and amazing place. Thank you so much, David and Susan. We will be back very soon.
Francis F2024-04-30Another restorative stay in Casa de los Arcos For the past twelve years this has become our home away from home. Nestled in the hills above Zona Romantica, overlooking Los Muertos Beach you will enjoy the old town away from the hustle and bustle of the high rises of the new parts of Puerto Vallarta. Although this year’s highs in mid- to late April were in the mid-80s we never once resorted to turning on the air conditioner as the gentle breezes and the ceiling fans are more than a match. Every bit of the property is beautifully maintained by the owners, Susan and David, and their staff of Felipa and Ismael. Besides the marvelous casitas to stay in you will enjoy the pool and hot tub. We have booked our two-week 2025 stay already!!!
Explorer191624225052024-04-05Friendly breezy hillside hideaway This was a perfect home base for our 2 week holiday in P.V. Susan and David are great hosts, they live on the property and are very welcoming, but not intrusive. Felipe and Ismael keep the gardens and suites looking perfect and were patient with us practicing our limited Spanish with them! The suite was nice and open but also felt very safe, being set up above the street. Nights are quiet and a nice breeze blows through, so we did not have to use the AC. We enjoyed having drinks by the pool and coffee on one of the high terraces at the top of the property with a great view of town and the bay. We enjoyed the daily hikes down the hill to the beach or town and back up again, but there are plenty of cabs and Uber (gets there in 5 minutes) if you don't want to walk. If you like to cook, there is a busy local produce market a few blocks away. You can get fresh produce, tortillas and camarones at cheap prices. It's fun just to check it out! Overall one of our top favourite places to stay!
Tim Harriman2024-04-01TRULY A GEM!!!! This is our 4th stay at Casa De Los Arcos and we are amazed every single time. This place is perfection. Spectacular views, beautiful gardens, quiet days and evenings away from the hustle and bustle of the town below all can be experienced right at your Villa. Just a 10 minute walk to most everything your heart desires. Cabs and Ubers are readily available if walking is not your thing. Susan, David, Felipa, and Ismael will make sure your vacation is the best experience ever. We even got a guided tour of the botanical gardens just outside of the city which was the highlight of our visit. I cannot recommend Casa De Los Arcos enough. It’s truly a gem on all accounts. Susan B2024-03-22Casa de los Arcos is truly a special place! This was our 5th visit to Casa de los Arcos. First of all, Susan and David are the most welcoming hosts. All the villas (and we have experienced them all) are bright and comfortable. The grounds, which are open to all guests, are lush and tropical and offer amazing views of the bay. We're already planning our next visit!
Mike2024-03-19Excellent Awesome stay at Casa de los Arcos. We stayed in both the Palapa and Museo suites. We loved the outdoor space and view in the Palapa suite. The entire property is beautiful and Susan and David are wonderful hosts. Susan provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities during our stay. The property is a short walk down the hill into the main part of town. We walked back up the steep hill for the exercise but it would be a short Uber or taxi ride. We will definitely stay here again in the future and hope to return with our adult kids.

And then you have the experience of staying at Casa de los Arcos and "Yes, the praise is accurate. It is an exceptionally special place to spend time. It is a beautiful location with the most thoughtful hosts and staff." We could not have chosen a better place to celebrate a significant occasion and reflect on many years of travelling together. Ever M2024-03-13An Enchanting Casita on Bahía de Banderas We just returned from our lovely trip to Puerto Vallarta and Casa de Los Arcos. This was our second time for both and we will most definitely be back! The hosts are phenomenal, the location is outstanding, and the views from La Casita...exquisite! The terrace during the day offers expansive views of Banderas Bay, where you can watch whales and dolphins and human activity on the water and by night watch the beautiful sunsets and the City lights come up. Casa de Los Arcos is a true gem and a great place to rest, play, and plan your excursions in and around Puerto Vallarta. La Casita has everything that you need and amenities are readily available in town, either a 15 minute walk or Uber ride. The pool is fantastic for cooling off after an afternoon in town, the gardens are a lovely place to contemplate and be inspired. I highly recommend you stay with Susan and David, they are more than great hosts, they are 2 of the most lovely people you will want to meet.
