Welcome to Villa Casa de los Arcos
Casa de los Arcos is a charming villa nestled on the hillside amongst the palms overlooking spectacular Banderas Bay and old town Puerto Vallarta. We have been a rental villa here in Puerto Vallarta for 23 years.
We are tucked away within a cityscape, but here you will find our little oasis of unobstructed views and our lush botanical gardens. Our location is superb. We are close enough to downtown Puerto Vallarta, that you can easily walk to the bustling beach, shops, and restaurants, but when you are ready to come home you will be in a place of peace and tranquility.
Villa Casa de los Arcos is a unique rental villa made up of 4 separate suites/apartments which are designed to give you the perfect vacation property. The villas are separated from each other by the gardens and a few stairs.
A group can rent the complete property which includes the “Palapa”, “Casita”, “Museo” and the “Casa Grande”. Three suites have one bedroom, and the Casa Grande has two bedrooms. Each one is completely self contained with spacious living, and dining areas, fully equipped kitchens and terraces.
It is a wonderful setting for a group of 10, as there are many private spaces, and many large entertaining areas. We also offer each villa for rent separately. There are magnificent views throughout the villa. Villas for rent Puerto Vallarta.
The pool and it’s large terrace are there for all of our guests to enjoy.
Our most recent addition is the Botanical garden. It is on the property adjoining Casa de los Arcos and offers our guests a wonderful collection of tropical plants, and 3 large terraces with unobstructed views of Puerto Vallarta, the jungle and the Pacific.
We are visited daily by a wide variety of birds, and butterflies all of which can be viewed from the gardens. There are two waterfalls and a hot tub designed to lull you into relaxation. The garden is also a perfect venue for small events and weddings.
Villa Casa de los Arcos can be as intimate as you want it or as large as you need it. We are the perfect blend of privacy and community.
Pet Policy
Casa de los Arcos is one of the few pet friendly rental properties in Puerto Vallarta. We welcome well behaved dogs and cats.

Francis F2024-04-30Another restorative stay in Casa de los Arcos For the past twelve years this has become our home away from home. Nestled in the hills above Zona Romantica, overlooking Los Muertos Beach you will enjoy the old town away from the hustle and bustle of the high rises of the new parts of Puerto Vallarta. Although this year’s highs in mid- to late April were in the mid-80s we never once resorted to turning on the air conditioner as the gentle breezes and the ceiling fans are more than a match. Every bit of the property is beautifully maintained by the owners, Susan and David, and their staff of Felipa and Ismael. Besides the marvelous casitas to stay in you will enjoy the pool and hot tub. We have booked our two-week 2025 stay already!!!
Explorer191624225052024-04-05Friendly breezy hillside hideaway This was a perfect home base for our 2 week holiday in P.V. Susan and David are great hosts, they live on the property and are very welcoming, but not intrusive. Felipe and Ismael keep the gardens and suites looking perfect and were patient with us practicing our limited Spanish with them! The suite was nice and open but also felt very safe, being set up above the street. Nights are quiet and a nice breeze blows through, so we did not have to use the AC. We enjoyed having drinks by the pool and coffee on one of the high terraces at the top of the property with a great view of town and the bay. We enjoyed the daily hikes down the hill to the beach or town and back up again, but there are plenty of cabs and Uber (gets there in 5 minutes) if you don't want to walk. If you like to cook, there is a busy local produce market a few blocks away. You can get fresh produce, tortillas and camarones at cheap prices. It's fun just to check it out! Overall one of our top favourite places to stay!
Tim Harriman2024-04-01TRULY A GEM!!!! This is our 4th stay at Casa De Los Arcos and we are amazed every single time. This place is perfection. Spectacular views, beautiful gardens, quiet days and evenings away from the hustle and bustle of the town below all can be experienced right at your Villa. Just a 10 minute walk to most everything your heart desires. Cabs and Ubers are readily available if walking is not your thing. Susan, David, Felipa, and Ismael will make sure your vacation is the best experience ever. We even got a guided tour of the botanical gardens just outside of the city which was the highlight of our visit. I cannot recommend Casa De Los Arcos enough. It’s truly a gem on all accounts. Susan B2024-03-22Casa de los Arcos is truly a special place! This was our 5th visit to Casa de los Arcos. First of all, Susan and David are the most welcoming hosts. All the villas (and we have experienced them all) are bright and comfortable. The grounds, which are open to all guests, are lush and tropical and offer amazing views of the bay. We're already planning our next visit!
Mike2024-03-19Excellent Awesome stay at Casa de los Arcos. We stayed in both the Palapa and Museo suites. We loved the outdoor space and view in the Palapa suite. The entire property is beautiful and Susan and David are wonderful hosts. Susan provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities during our stay. The property is a short walk down the hill into the main part of town. We walked back up the steep hill for the exercise but it would be a short Uber or taxi ride. We will definitely stay here again in the future and hope to return with our adult kids.

Ever M2024-03-13An Enchanting Casita on Bahía de Banderas We just returned from our lovely trip to Puerto Vallarta and Casa de Los Arcos. This was our second time for both and we will most definitely be back! The hosts are phenomenal, the location is outstanding, and the views from La Casita...exquisite! The terrace during the day offers expansive views of Banderas Bay, where you can watch whales and dolphins and human activity on the water and by night watch the beautiful sunsets and the City lights come up. Casa de Los Arcos is a true gem and a great place to rest, play, and plan your excursions in and around Puerto Vallarta. La Casita has everything that you need and amenities are readily available in town, either a 15 minute walk or Uber ride. The pool is fantastic for cooling off after an afternoon in town, the gardens are a lovely place to contemplate and be inspired. I highly recommend you stay with Susan and David, they are more than great hosts, they are 2 of the most lovely people you will want to meet. I can't wait to return!

A fantastic view of Banderas Bay - seeing whales and porpoises play from your balcony - cool breezes of fresh mountain air - 5 minute Uber ride to the Malecón and 2 of the finest proprietors you will ever meet. What’s not to love! This is our favorite “happy place” on the planet and we have been spending one to three months annually since discovering it several years ago. The owners and staff truly make every effort to see that your stay is amazing, carefree and memorable. We get groceries and great tasting take-out delivered right to our door meaning we can spend every minute doing the vacation experiences we enjoy. Don’t miss this hidden find!!!
Judy G2024-03-03Another wonderful stay This was our 5th stay at Casa de los Arcos, and it never disappoints. Casa de los Arcos is a beautiful property with well appointed self-contained apartments. Susan and David, the proprietors, are very welcoming and helpful, and the friendly staff (Felipa and Ismael) keep the units and grounds spotless. We always stay in the Museo (fewer stairs). It doesn't have it's own terrace, but the lovely pool terrace, with ocean view, is only a short flight of stairs away. The walk into town is steep in parts, but very manageable even for older folks like us (we used hiking poles which helped a lot). Uber was a quick, very affordable, and convenient way to get back without climbing the hill; local cabs are plentiful too. If you're looking for beauty, comfort, convenience, and stunning views, Casa de los Arcos is the place for you.

They always give us the best and latest restaurant recommendations as well as other things to do during our stay. The views from our Casita are outstanding. We never miss a sunrise or sunset. Well appointed and always super clean by the pleasant, friendly couple who always remember us. It’s the attention to details that make the difference.
